The Asta Jersey Dress from Wardrobe by Me has been updated and it’s more fantastic than ever!
In good WBM fashion, the pattern has a classic silhouette that immediately becomes a wardrobe staple and a go-to pattern.
Asta is definitely one of those dresses that you can make and wear to pretty much any occasion.
Asta is a flattering classic skater dress for jersey fabric. The bodice is fitted with a four gored A-line shaped skirt. Choose either the patch- or interior pockets, make one of three flattering necklines, combined with a straight or bell-shaped sleeve. Asta is designed for medium weight jersey fabric
I love all the options so much and have big plans for this pattern. It’s so comfortable and perfect for fall.
I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed with life at the moment and falling behind on all my personal and sewing plans.
Because of that I only made one Asta out of the million I had planned, but the one that got made is SO amazing!
I used this medium weight fuzzy feeling sweater knit and it’s sooooo soft and comfortable to wear. I LOVE the mix of classic and modern and this dress hits the mark.
I opted for boat neck, 3/4 sleeves and patch pockets.
This is a project where all stars aligned and everything went so well together and the end result is even better than I had imagined.
Something funny I noticed… I wear dresses way more often on Fall and Winter than on warmer seasons. Is that weird? Do any of you do that as well?
I’m keeping this one short and sweet because as I’ve mentioned… I’m overwhelmed and my brain has been all over the place.
Hope you are all doing well and keeping safe! <3
