Coraline Camisole

Who doesn’t love a good camisole?
They’re so practical (and cute!). Good for layering, wearing as a summer top, perfect comfortable for lounging and/or sleeping in… their use is really endless!

And when you find one that fits great, has an optional built in shelf bra and comes in 3 lengths (well, 4 actually, because you can make the bra as a standalone as well 😉 )… Amazing!

I made the top length with the build in bra and it’s so comfortable, fit is spot on!

I believe I mentioned this before, but I try to get the most use out of all my fabrics. I do my best to use every little scrap of it, for financial and environmental reasons.

This is another scrap buster project.
I used the last bit of this pretty rayon knit and it’s so great for the cami, really soft and light. For the shelf bra I used a medium weight CL.

I really like the lower cut of the neckline, makes it perfect for layering and not worrying about it peeking out if you don’t want it to.

It’s also perfect to wear as a summer top. Oh the possibilities!

The back has the perfect height as well. It’s comfortable and it’s high enough to keep those annoying above the bra “wings” in place. 😀

I also really like the FOE finish for the edges and straps. Makes it daintier! 😉

Coraline is so comfortable that I might *cough cough* be wearing mine since yesterday afternoon (it’s early am here)… I wore it underneath my sweater when I had to run an errand outside and then they transitioned into pjs.

This is a pattern that you’ll get a love of use out of as it can be worn all year round. A definite staple!
