Amelia Shirt – Annelaine Patterns
Amelia is a raglan shirt, but not your run of the mill raglan. Amelia is special!
It has 2 cold shoulders options (subtle and dramatic), and the choice of 3 hems (standard, hi-lo
For this first one I chose to make the hi-lo with subtle cold shoulder. The fabric I used is a knit lurex for the bodice and CL for the sleeves and bands. The lurex was transparent, so I used double layers.
I LOVE how this turned out!
This is such a cool shirt! Comfy like a regular t-shirt, but funkier. 😉
And of course I couldn’t stop at only 1 Amelia, my next one is also hi-lo, but with regular sleeves.
The fabric is some mystery knit… it’s sweater knit like. I used one side for the bodice and reverse side for the sleeves and neckband.
A more casual Amelia, but just as comfy and lovely.
I really like both shirts, but the cold shoulder options is definitely my favorite. I do need to find some time to sew the dramatic sleeve one.
