The Summer has officially arrived and what better way to “sew-lebrate” it than with a new bathing suit cover up?
Ellie and Mac’s Beach Cover Up is an easy and fast sew with fantastic results.
It’s a pretty straightforward pattern with the options of having the sides completely closed or having a side split.
It’s loose and comfy but due to the seams along the body, it isn’t shapeless.
The fabric I used is a silky satin I bought at Stof-inc. It’s a bit finicky, so I did a rolled hem instead of the regular method.
The great thing about this cover up is that it also looks fantastic over a dress and worn as a kaftan style top. Check out the tester photos on the website for some great inspiration! 😉
