Well, let me start off by apologizing if you’re a subscriber and suddenly you’re bombarded by my posts. Real life has gotten busy and the blog had to take a bit of a backseat for a few days. The sewing, on the other hand, keeps going (as it should! 😉 ) so now I have plenty to share with

DIBY Club has launched it’s first Kids pattern and I’m so excited about it!

The Kaius sweatshirt came just at the right time for this Mama. My son outgrew our favorite kids’ sweatshirt pattern (Constance by Sew a Little Seam) and we were in desperate need of another one.
Of course, there are other ones that we love, like the Summit Peak by New Horizons for example, but they all have a distinctive look or feature. The Kaius came to fill out the sweet spot of a “regular” sweatshirt with multiple options that we can pick and choose from. A fast and simpler sew that covers the basic needs… am I making sense?

The pattern options are:
- Necklines: Lined Hood or Low Crew Neck;
- Hemming Styles: Sewn-in Elastic or Banded;
- Sleeve Hem Styles: Sewn-in Elastic or Cuffed;
- Additional Options: Kangaroo Pocket;
- Regular and slim fit.

He loves it so much that I really must make time to make a couple more. People at school probably thinks the boy only has one sweater in his closet, as he keeps wearing it over and over again.
Options chosen were lined hood and sewn-in elastic hem and cuffs.
