LOL Swing Top Adult – Jennuine Design
Jennifer from Jennuine Design released the much-awaited LOL Swing Top for adults and it’s oh-so-cute!
The pattern comes with options of top or dress and features:
- Racerback with an adorable gathering detail,
- optional pockets;
- optional FBA front piece;
- and the best part: It can be made in knit or woven!
I made mine in woven and as a member of the IBTC, no FBA front piece for me. 😛
I used this lightweight rayon/viscose I bought at the local market and it was perfect for this pattern.
Even though I love a loose top, A-line and swingy ones can be tricky on my body shape and are often quite unflattering on me.
Not this one!
Fabric choice plays a big part in this one. Thicker or stiffer fabrics will give a more tent-y look to it.
I strongly suggest you make a muslin first to figure out the fit before cutting into your good/expensive fabric.
My best friend, Juliana, tested the pattern as well and that asked for some twinning fun! <3
