Malala Wrap Sweater

DIBY club is killing it with the fall patterns!
First I think that the Mae Poncho will be my go-to for this season, then along comes Malala!

The perfect sweater for the chilly days! That collar is the perfect height against the wind and the wrap style is gorgeous!

The pattern comes with plenty of options:

  • Shirt, Tunic or Dress length;
  • Elbow, 3/4,  long or cuffed sleeves;
  • Optional banded waistband.

I made the Shirt length with cuffed sleeves. I adjusted the pattern for my length and graded up at the hips.  I had to get a bit creative when cutting the fabric, so I cut the sleeves a bit shorter and made the cuffs a tad longer than the original pattern.

I love that DIBY club patterns come with useful videos, making the steps a breeze to understand and follow (in this case, the collar).

The fabric is a heavier weight knit, a not so drapey french terry I bought at Stof-inc.com.
