Posy Pleated Pants by Rebecca Page
You probably know by now that I’m a big Rebecca Page fan.
It was one of the first pattern companies I’ve tested for and a huge chunk of my wardrobe is RP and I love it!
One of my favorite patterns is the Arabella skirt. I can’t get enough of it!
The Pippa pants is a very close second, but now Posy is here and giving them both a run for their money!
It’s the best of both worlds!
Posy = Arabella in pants form. *mind blown*
OhmygoodnessIloveitsomuch!!!! I keep repeating this every time I catch a glimpse of myself when I’m wearing it. 😀
The pattern comes with the options of full or 3/4 lengths, and optional sash and belt loops.
It’s made for woven light to medium weight fabrics (I used linen), it’s very full and if you use something on the heavier side it will pull down and feel awkward.
The pants has a flat front with elastic back waistband and fits wonderfully well.
I love the sash! Just like the Arabella, for me it’s all about the sash! 😉
I was so lucky to find this fabric in an outlet shop. Isn’t that color just gorgeous???
Posy will be the perfect spring/summer pants. I can just picture it in a big floral, paired with a sandals and a tank top. Maybe sunglasses, a sun hat and a gorgeous beach at the background? 😉
I’m so done with the cold!
Have you started spring/summer sewing yet?
Do you have a system for sewing for the seasons? Or are you like me, all over the place and sewing whatever you feel like it and then hope and wish the weather changes accordingly? LOL
