I’m so immensely thrilled about this dress! I love wrap dresses but was never able to really wear one because of my body shape (pear). RTW wrap dresses have always proven to be a challenge for me, they’d either be huge on the bust or not wrap enough around my hips.
So when Petite Stitchery & Co announced this dress I jumped at the chance to test it.
The Sunflower Dress is designed to have a deep V-neck for a sexy spring look. The curved hemline gives it an extra flair, which I love. The pattern comes with plenty options to keep the sunflowers going all year long 😉
– Ruffles can be added to neckline and/or hemline
– Sleeveless, Flutter Sleeves or Long Sleeves (bishop style)
– Mini, Knee or Maxi lengths
This red bow makes me happy! 🙂 It was the perfect choice for the fabric I used. This fabric has a bit more structure than the advised on the pattern, but I couldn’t help it! I had been eyeing this woven for a while and when this awesome dress pattern came along, I just had to get it!
I LOVE how this turned out! The fit is spot on and the silhouette is super flattering! Now I’m dreaming of a long and flowy sunflower!
