Samantha is currently at a stage where she still fits some kids patterns, size 12/14, but can already wear some women’s patterns, size XXS. I’m so happy that this was the case with the Women’s Summit Peak Pullover by New Horizons.
It was the perfect pattern to showcase this Mickey fabric that she chose. She’s in love with it! Tried it on this morning after breakfast and hasn’t taken it off since!
I made a straight size XXS for her, the only modification was shortening the length of panels and sleeves as the pattern is drafted for 5’5″ and she’s 5ft. I removed 2″ and it was just perfect!
She’s now busy, planning on what her next pullover will look like! This is another fantastic thing about this pattern, so many possibilities of mixing and matching fabrics.
She agrees with me… the shape of the hood is perfect for cycling! So much love for this pattern all around!
