Mix It Up Dress – George+Ginger
As I mentioned in my previous post, the Mix It Up Dress pattern is EPIC.
I can’t stop repeating it because it really has me in awe!
Over 2200 possible combos, yup that’s right, you can make OVER TWENTY TWO HUNDRED different dresses with this one single pattern! WHAT? *mind blown*
I go over all the options in my introductory post, so I won’t repeat it here. I’ll just place this photo so you can be amazed, just like I am! 😉
So. Many. Options!!!
For this one I chose:
- Front Bodice: Horseshoe;
- Back Bodice: Keyhole;
- Sleeves: Cap;
- Skirt: Fitted.
I’ve made 4 dresses so far and must say that this bodice combo is my favorite! Love love love!
If you’re wondering, I am wearing a bra underneath. It’s a regular bra, just pulled lower. 😉 I’m looking into buying one of those lower back bras though, so if you’re in the Netherlands and have some tips for me of where I can buy one, hit me up!
I used CL for main and for the lining. It’s suuuuuper comfortable. I love those flamingos!
Is it summer yet? Weather gods, please cooperate. I want to stroll around town, in the sunshine, rocking my new dress! <3
The pattern is beginner friendly and the instructions are fantastic.
The most difficult thing about this pattern is choosing what combo to make!
With that in mind, I’m off to figure out my next one because I’m obsessed and can’t stop making them! 😛
