Solo Tank + Nantucket Hat – Greenstyle Creations
Weโve had a few gorgeous sunny and warm days but the weather cooled down since the first official summer day. Sweaters may be back on but I refuse to believe that that was it!
Iโm prepared for the sun to come back around and have the hat to prove it! ๐
How cute is this Nantucket bucket hat from Greenstyles?
This was my first time making a hat. What a fun project! And itโs way easier and faster than I had anticipated too.
To be honest, hat and I are not friends. I have a big noggin and store bought hats never fit me properly.
Making one was a game changer! This may be the first hat that I like on myself ๐
I used a heavy weight canvas fabric from Ikea that has been in my stash for years.
A new hat asked for a new tank! Time to finally make a Solo tank. Itโs been in my to-sew list for quite a while.
It has a very low armscye, features a racer back and has an optional side knot. So cute!
I made a tube top using the same fabric as the top and love the matchy-matchy look.
This is such a great top to work out in or just as a summer basic. I’m thinking that a bunch of Solo tanks with corresponding tube tops to mix and match as desired would be a great thing. ๐
My teen just let me know that bucket hats are totally in and I’m absolutely allowed to make her a few, isn’t this nice of her? LOL
Off to upcycle some old jeans into hats! ๐
