The Summer Nights Two-Piece Set and Romper PDF Sewing Pattern is so comfortable, you will not want to take it off! It features optional front slash pockets, four sleeve options, and capri, or full-length pants options! You can make a top and pants set or a romper! How fun is that?! You will love that you can make this for all seasons!
If you’re looking for an outfit that makes you look put together but feels like you’re wearing pjs, this is it!
It’s no secret that I love a good romper but I know that not everyone is comfortable with having to strip every time they need a bathroom break.
The Summer Nights got you covered!
This pattern has a ton of options and covers all the off-shoulder romper bases. 🙂
- Romper or Two-piece;
- Flounce or no flouce;
- full length pants or capri (super easy and cute to hack into shorts!);
- Bishop Sleeves (long) or Regular Sleeves ( short, 3/4 or long);
- Optional front slash pockets.
I chose to make the 2-piece options: no flounce with bishop sleeves top, and capri length bottoms with pockets.
This pattern looks best when made with drappier knits.
I used a poly knit, from Driessen Stoffen, that is buttery soft, it was perfect for this project!
I really love the versatility of the two piece. I can wear the top completely down for a romper look or pull the band up a bit for a little peekaboo, crop top style.
Or even wear it as separates and pair the top with a pair of jeans.
Or high-waisted leggins 😉
The pants look really cute paird with a simple black top as well, but my camera battery… so you’ll just have to trust me on that! 😛
I really love it paired with jeans, but my favorite is definitely the complete look together.
I love this print so much! Driessen has the same print in chiffon… should I get it? What pattern would you suggest I make in case I do?
I’m off to enjoy the sun in the garden now… Have a great day, and stay safe!
