Anne did it again, another great knit summer dress (and tunic) by Sofilantjes!
The Vallis is a simple sew with some fun options to fill up a summer wardrobe.
- Empire or normal waist;
- gathered skirt for the empire waist, or 1/2 circle skirt for the normal waist;
- 3 different hem options
- bonus: it’s interchangeable with the Solis, you can mix and match bodices and skirts!
Pretty sweet!
I opted for the regular waist and straight hem (normal waist option A) and used a rayon knit (viscose tricot). Black with white polka dots for a classic look.
The Vallis has a lower back and it’s so flattering and charming.
It’s low, but not low enough to prevent regular bra wearing, which is fantastic.
This dress is so quick to make and so comfortable to wear, it’s the perfect thing for this heatwave we’re having here. I’ve worn it a ton already!
It’s another piece that works so well with both flats and heels and that’s always a plus!
When wearing it with flats I left it as is, but when I went to lunch with a girlfriend I paired it with some heels and a red belt for a pop of color!
