Sofilantjes just released a new adult pattern and I’m thrilled!
I love their designs and was so sad when my kids outgrew them. Sofilantjes patterns always have a special flair or detail to them that makes them unique.
Videre is no different.
This little peekaboo detail on the back is so cute!
The skirt has a classic A-line silhouette that is super flattering to all body types and there’s no grading needed, woot!
I just made a straight size 40, according to my bust and waist.
The fabric I used is a poly knit from Driessen. I kinda love the funky color mix and print.
And if the peekaboo option isn’t your cup of tea, no worries. The pattern comes with a full back option as well. 😉
The pattern is super easy to follow and sew. If you’re new to sewing binding, don’t let that intimidate you. The instructions are great, and it’s not as difficult as you may think, I promise! 😄
And if you reaaaally want to avoid binding, using FOE is also possible!
(This was made with a previous version of the pattern, so the curves are slightly different)
Personally I prefer the look of the binding, as it’s a bit thicker and gives a better contrast to it. But the FOE works just as well and gives a daintier look to the dress.
Either way, Videre is an awesome addition to the summer wardrobe ♥️
