Free Spirit – Ankle Length

After making the knee length Free Spirit I just had to give the ankle length a go.
I had been eyeing this skull and carp silk satin from my local shop for a while and this seemed to be the perfect project for it!

This outfit is a bit out of my comfort zone and not what I would normally wear, but I must admit that I quite like it! My husband and my kids also approve of my “badass alter-ego”. 🙂

I think I like the ankle length even more than the knee length. I added 4″ due to my height and it turned out perfect.

This time I made a rolled hem with the serger and must say that I like the process and results better. I might stick to this method for my next kimonos.
