Hello World Collection – Petite Stitchery
The Hello World Collection is a series of patterns designed with new mamas and babes in mind. For mama, this pattern features a relaxed fit, kimono sleeve robe with a waist tie and pockets. This robe is perfect for the hospital stay or lounging at home with baby. For baby, this collection features a comfy gown (…) a cozy hat, booties, and scratch mitts for baby and matching headbands for mommy and baby. The Hello World Collection has all the patterns you need to make the perfect baby shower gift or welcome a new baby into the world!
The baby aspect of this collection doesn’t apply to me or anyone in my friends circle, which is a shame because baby things are adorable!
BUT… a comfy robe to lounge in? YES PLEASE!
This green poly-knit I used to make a pair of shorties was PERFECT for this robe. Not only it makes a super cute set with my Briar set, but it wears like a dream! Sooooo soft and cool for the summer days.
This fabric is pretty lightweight and slippery so I decided to skip the pockets, as it wouldn’t be able to hold much without pulling the robe down.
This fabric is super soft and doesn’t fray, so I left the edges unhemmed. Or it could be because I was lazy af, but let’s go with the first one shall we? 😉
Bottom line is that for the entire month of June the Hello World Collection will be on sale for only $4! So even if you’re not in the baby scene, like me… this robe alone is oh-so-worth-it!!
