Kali Crossover Halter – Made for Mermaids
Everyone in the sewing community knows that Aaronica is a powerhouse and now she’s just added another notch to her entrepreneur belt: Her first indie sewing pattern with M4M just released and it’s pretty fantastic!
The crossover neckline is so chic and on-trend.
It’s the type of pattern that can take you to the beach, as well as to a formal party, all with the one silhouette. Isn’t that fantastic?
I went with the middle path with this crop top.
I feel the black and animal print combo can so easily be styled up or down. Pair it with a pair of denim shorts for a laid-back look to run errands or enjoy a day in the park, or with a palazzo to go to dinner.
Crop tops and super high-waisted bottoms are my jam.
Ever since I’ve made these black Palazzos I’ve been wearing them non-stop and now I’m sure I’ll be making all the Kali crops to pair with it!
The pattern is easy and quick to sew.
I love the fact that it has a shaped back, the center seam helps us to achieve that perfect fit.
Also… how awesome would a swim top using this pattern would be? So cute!
Did I mention the pattern includes an optional shelf bra?
And in case you were wondering… yes, I did not resist the urge to hack the pattern! haha
Here’s a sneak peek of what I made, but for the deets on those you’ll need to go to the M4M blog 😉
