Need an awesome stash buster? Make undies! ๐
Stephanie from Rad Patterns just released the Lucky Booty Undies,ย a boy shorts pattern. I LOVE it!
Boy shorts are my favorite type of undies…it’s just so comfortable (and a bit sassy too ๐ )!
It’s no secret that this girl has a lot of junk in her trunk, so it’s fantastic to be able to make these shorts to my exact measurements.
The pattern comes with 3 different rises (hipster, mid and high) and 2 inseam options (booty and boxer), and the best part: it ranges from size XXS to size 4XL. How fantastic is that?
I wanted to try the pattern out and figure out what rise and inseam I’d like better, so I made:
- hipster booty (wolf/grey)
- mid-rise booty (animals in blue/black)
- high-rise boxer (blue with flamingos)
And I love them all! I don’t think I can choose one model to stick to….ย they are all great for different occasions. For example, I always wear little shorts under flowy dresses and skirts and the boxer length will be just perfect for that!
This time around I may not have used the prettiest, most feminine fabrics but like I said… stash buster! ๐ย I’ll definitely be making a LOT more of those!
If you want to use up those scraps and get some fantastically comfortable undies as well, here’s the link:
