Love Notions’ new pattern, the Lyric, is a spring
This pattern is so cute and has enough option to keep me clothed throughout the whole season!
Three lengths, two skirt styles and five, well, actually six sleeves… how fantastic is that?
The sleeve types are: sleeveless, flutter, short, bell and bishop sleeves in two lengths.
I chose the peplum with the shorter bishop sleeve, made it in simple cotton and am in love with it!
The V-neck is so flattering and the bias-tape finishing makes it clean and neat. The placket is a fold over one, so no extra pattern pieces and super beginner friendly.
I love sewing with knits, as it’s quicker and very forgiving, but there’s something so gratifying about sewing wovens and getting that perfect fit!
After drooling all the other tester photos I feel I really need a sleeveless dress in my summer wardrobe. Well, everyone one needs a Lyric in their spring/summer wardrobe! It’s that awesome! 😉
