I’m thoroughly enjoying this off the shoulder trend!
Here’s another dress with this detail that I love so much, True Beauty by Ellie and Mac.
The dress comes with plenty options:
- 3 sleeve options (short, 3/4 and long)
- 4 skirt lengths (tunic, above knee, knee, and maxi)
Enough to mix and match to our heart’s desire! 😉
I made the knee length with the 3/4 sleeve, and even though I love it and am slightly obsessed with 3/4 and elbow sleeves, I might cut these to the short length. This fabric is so soft, I want to be able to wear it as much as possible during the warmer days!
The pattern is very straightforward and fast to make, the only step that takes a bit of time is gathering the skirt but even with that, it’s soon done!
The off shoulder has elastic all around and it doesn’t ride up when moving the arms (I hate when that happens), it stays put in place exactly how it should.
I really like this length but must confess that after seeing all the tester photos, I feel like I NEED a maxi in my life in a beautiful flower print! 🙂
