Batty Cardigan

I finally managed to successfully complete a SAL!
I’ve started a lot of them but somehow I always failed at them. Either I’d just sew the project straight on and forget to take step photos, or got distracted by other things and missed the deadlines altogether.

With the G+G Batty Sew Along I did mess up for the first day but soon caught up and managed to follow the other days step by step. So proud of myself! Ha!

I usually avoid baggy tops because I feel it’s not really flattering on me, even though I LOVE them on others. But when Kristi posted her Batty Top Cardigan Hack, I just HAD to purchase the pattern and make one!

This is the comfiest cardi EVER!
I love how it hangs, and those sleeves are just too fabulous. When I tried it on, both my son and my husband said in chorus: WOW! I never got that reaction from a cardi before…haha

The Batty Cardi manages to be comfy, cozy and stylish at the same time. Not a very common combo.
I used a loose weaved sweater knit and I love the results, now I’m excited to try it on a heavier weight fabric.
